Eliberta THEMELI - Albania Shkolla 9-vjecare Uznove -February and March Works

we started our February activities by deciding on the works we will do as part of the 9 February Safe Internet Day. As teachers, we made some collaborative activity suggestions on an online document. As a result of the recommendations, the activities to be carried out were determined and the task distribution was made. Each school will fulfill a task and ensure that all teachers and students involved in the project participate.

As the first activity, all students created keywords with the Mentimeter. Then they created the visuals of the most specified keywords with WordArt.

3rd activity: A fun game with interactive questions about safe internet usage was developed with WordWall and it was played by all students.

4. Activity: Creating a survey on Safe Internet Use. The questionnaire questions were created on an online document by the teachers in cooperation with each school as a question. These questions were surveyed with Google Forms and filled out by the students involved in the project. The survey results were shared with all stakeholders in graphics.

5. Activity: A seminar was held on Safe Internet Use. A presentation was made by the Dalia teacher in the seminar held on Zoom. After the presentation, the students instantly shared their slogans on Safe Internet on the palette. At the end of the meeting, an instant quiz was held by asking questions about secure internet using Kahoot. The students involved in the project had a lot of fun and gained information with Kahoot.

6th Activity: We determined certain topics about Safe Internet Use and the students of each school shared their topics in the Twinspace Forum section. Then we collected all the shared data in an e-book using StoryJumper at the specified day and time. In this way, we created our Safe Internet Use E-Book study.

For our February coding event, we applied a questionnaire to students with various coding activities with Google Form. It was the Dance Party event on the top rated code.org site. All teachers have described this activity to our students. Students completed the event on code.org with the entrance cards given to them and received their certificates.

In line with the results announced in February, we were entitled to receive a Certificate of Excellence with our project partners, with the work we conducted in the European Code Week in December 2020.

We first started our March studies with the Compute It Coding activity. We made it possible for all students in the project to complete the 59-step event at https://compute-it.toxicode.fr/.

Within the scope of March 8, International Working Women's Day, we organized the first women in their professions through Prezi.

Each continent of the Turkish National Anthem was voiced by the students of our project schools within the scope of the anniversary of the March 12, the Acceptance of the National Anthem. Later, these recordings were collaboratively combined on Canva, edited as video and shared and disseminated on Youtube.

On March 13, a seminar on Mblock Machine Teaching Practices was organized by Information Technologies Teacher Özgür Şeremet. The seminar poster was designed and announced in all provinces where the project was conducted and abroad within the scope of dissemination, and participation was also made outside the project. The seminar was organized in the form of Turkish-English translation to increase participation.

In the last event of March, Micro: bit events were organized. An activity on coding of Micro: bit cards via simulator on an online platform was held by all students. The work done was shared on Padlet.
